Elva Jackson, 76, 701 E. Market St., a resident of Crawfordsville for 20 years, died Wednesday morning at Culver Hospital. She had been in failing health for several months. She was born Oct. 18, 1886, in Montgomery County and her parents were Thomas L. and Anna McCormick Mason. On Oct. 18, 1907, she married Andrew C. Jackson. They lived north of Crawfordsville for several years before moving here 20 years ago. She was a member of the Youngs Chapel Christian Church. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Edith Quisenberry of near Brownsburg; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Reed of Danville, Ill., and Mrs. Mae Thomas of Lafayette; a brother, Walter Mason of Marion, and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. John Servies officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery and friends may call at the funeral home after noon Thursday.
